This is the primary diet that Koi should be fed year round. No longer needed is any kind of wheat germ type of food at the startup or at the end of the season as the pond water cools into winter time. Kenzen Primary Diet Koi food can help your Koi thrive with greater ability to fight disease and parasites. It is so well engineered, it should not be mixed with other types of Koi food in an effort to supply other possible nutritional needs. The Primary diet is all-natural with the exact combination of highly digestible ingredients to optimize body growth, luster and health.
Your Koi will experience the same or better growth rates and you'll experience a cleaner pond even when feeding 40 - 60% less than you normally of the other brand Koi food by feeding them Kenzen Primary Diet.
Kenzen Benefits:
Kenzen Primary diet is an engineered Koi food. The research produced the perfect blend of high quality ingredients. In fact, one serving of Kenzen Primary Diet is equal to 1.5 to 2 servings of most other Koi foods. Its that healthy!
Feeding Kenzen primary diet may be the least expensive and the most nutritional decision you could make for your Koi. At SkagiTek, we have customers that brag about how cheap of food they buy for their Koi and yet, they are ordering Rx Medicated food on the same phone call.
Primary Diet is the only food needed all year round. It's that simple. No more Cheerios or wheatgerm is needed to start or end the feeding season.
In fact, with Primary Diet, the fish are able to determine the end of the season by eating less. Even when the water temperatures drop and the pond starts to ice over.
Keep on feeding during the Fall on into the winter and if needed, skip a day or two. It is so nice to be able to keep up there strength during the harsh winters.
Our Testing:
We at SkagiTek tested and proved to ourselves that our Koi produced well over 80% less fish waste in an indoor tank that is setup to filter the bottom drain intake via a 300 micron screen that captures the fish waste. We actually feel it was closer to 90% less fish waste, yet listed 80% to be conservative knowing that your results may vary.
When feeding Kenzen, and getting less waste you might ask, what does this prove? For one, that the fish are passing through less fillers and digesting usable food that can be utilized. On the pond bottom we found fibers that are resulting from the white herring meal. Fiber is a good thing in benefiting the digestive track as well as some garlic. The digestibility and nutritional aspect of this food demonstrates as to why Koi eating Kenzen can continue to swim actively, thrive and grow in ponds even during winter when the water temperatures normally would result in the Koi conserving energy by sitting on the bottom waiting for spring. Buy it and become a believer.
One last note about why "less fish waste" is so important. Bad bacteria thrive on fish waste. This is a big deal to all of us and benefit especially our fish. Bad bacteria causes skin ulceration, red streaked fins or body, fin or mouth rot, organ failure and death. Shop Now
Our testing resulted in more than an 80% decrease is waste.
Feeding food that produces less waste benefits your efforts to have a healthy, and as maintenance free pond environment as possible.
